To Jeff - my eagle

Lost sparrow

I was a lost sparrow, that had fallen out of the nest to early.
I was not ready for it all.
Often I sat alone and cried, cause no one would have anything to do with me.
The others bullied me, for my lack of ability to fly.
They thought I was stupid, and I felt so misplaced and alone.
I did not want to be here any more.
So I begun playing with fire.
This tore me down more and more to the ground
So eventually the vultures circled over me, wanting to end my life.
I was ready to leave it all...everything.

No one would miss me...

But thats when the eagle came.
He was not there to harm me, but to help me get back on my feet.
And he managed to do what others just did not want to do.
He saved me.

And the eagle will always be one of my best friends, and I will never loose him.

A little poem that I have written just for you, Jeff.
(Keep it in mind that I haven´t written any poems for about almost a year, so I'm a bit out of practice)
.
Hope you like it

In memory of Michell Santiago

*Michell "Raven" Santiago*

June 12, 1990 - August 30, 2009
Palm Bay

Michell Pauline "Raven" Santiago, 19, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2009 at Palm Bay Community Hospital.

Michell was born in Mount View, CA on June 12, 1990 to Anthony and Sherry Santiago. She was a graduate of Bayside High School, Class of 2008 and sang Karaoke on Tuesday nights at the County Line in Melbourne.
Her family includes her parents, a brother Anthony Luis Santiago; her grandparents Barbara and Jim Daniels and Luis and Carmen Santiago and many aunts and uncles.

Michell was a great penpal, and a good friend. She really understand me, and she was not so different from me. She was about 1 year older than me, and even if there was a thousand miles between us, we still had something great.
Thank you for everything Michell.
My thoughts go to her family and friends. Its never easy to loose someone.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
(Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!

My so called bad music-taste

Some would probably call me a idiot just by my music taste. I am not going to say that I have the best music taste, but I don't have the worst.
I listen to almost everything inside music.
Here are some examples.
All-American Rejects, Billy Idol, Celtic Thunder, Def Leppard, Evanescence, Fallout Boy, Guns n Roses, Hans Zimmer, Il Divo, Jace Everett, Keith Urban, Lenka, Major Parkinson/Metallica, Nirvana, Oasis, Pantera, Queen, Rammstein, Sex Pistols/Skid row, Tonight is goodbye/The Beatles, Ugress, Velvet Revolver, Within Temptation, Xryspa, Your Favorite Enemies, Zzzzzz...

You get the point. There are so many other I could have mentioned, but now I picked these.
